Biography
Born in Glasgow, Thomson studied at the Glasgow School of Art and has spent much of his younger years in teaching and landscape painting. He has been a regular exhibitor at the Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts and has also exhibited internationally. In his relatively senior years he has adventureously turned to deploying his detailed skills in depicting subtle shades of scene and colour in capturing intimate moments in bars and restaurants. His work is to be found in corporate collections in the UK and in private collections throughout the world. |
