Biography
Scouller studied at the Glasgow School of Art (1968-72) and in 1989 became a full-time artist after a period of teaching in Glasgow schools and tutoring at the GSA. Throughout the past 20 years, he has travelled and painted etensively in southern Europe, South Africa and the Far East. During that period he has had over 25 solo exhibitions in the UK, USA and South Africa. He is represented in public and private collections internationally. Scouller employs a palette with a double and contrasting bias toward blues/greens and pinks/orange - colours which sit well with the strong impressionist cum Mediterranean texture of his paintings. |
